Brazilian master takes São Paulo realism to Chicago

Some of the best street artists in the world have descended on Chicago this week to fill the streets of Chicago's meatpacking district with a splash of entertainment, history and culture, and one that surely stands out is Brazilian mastercalled Sipros. Known for for his big-ear characters and facial detailing, his creations are mostly of realistic characters with an extremely level of imagination and personal touch and technique.
While painting portraits of all ages, Sipros is popular for the subject matter he paints that are children, a theme that is both playful and unifying. The completion of his mural will be a great addition to the neighborhoodnd is fitting, as it sits next to the Bennett Day School up the block on Morgan street and Hubbard.
