June 18, 2018
ULTRADYNAMISM and the age of technoglitch aesthetics arrives to the streets of Chicago’s Fulton Market District in grand, big-shouldered fashion with a stunning new mural under a historic train line in the B_Line art corridor along Hubbard Street.
A first-of-its-kind for Chicago, it has been a pleasure for the city to observe Felipe Pantone design and execute this together with his studio chiefs from Valencia, Spain and a local team of students from SAIC. The urban cave is reaching its final stages of completion and serves to be the backdrop of a a major music event in the up-coming days.
Despite major setbacks in the painting due to rain, the project was completed in record time, and stands as an impressive achievement and soon-to-be staple in Chicago’s blossoming emerging public art scene. The work hopes to draw new critically acclaimed global artists to Chicago.
